Annual Outstanding Performance Award has been accomplished in this month. A keen competition was expected in this year. It was reflected that the overall performance of our security personnel has improved significantly.

After several rounds of voting from our panel of judges based on Security Knowledge, Handling-skill, Working Attitude, Appearance and Manner of the security personnel as well as client’s recommendations. Twenty-seven security staff members were awarded the Outstanding Performance Award. Each outstanding security personnel was awarded a certificate and bonus for encouragement. We believe that our professional management and well-trained staff can gain more and more support from clients in coming days.

Along the health and smooth growth of our business recently, the number of our guards is increasing. To raise the support of back office, we not only reinforce the on-the-job trainings, but also employ many new staff. On 1st October 2006, City Security Company Limited is pleased to corporate with MTRC to hold the event of Firework Celebration on National Day at the Arch.

That night, to match up with the high class image of the Arch, we elaborately chose twenty five customer ambassadors to maintain the venue in order; meanwhile, we dispatched our senior operation personnel to supervise the situation of the venue. In addition, we corporate with the security department of the Arch and kept close contact with them so as to provide the most efficient and effective response in a short period of time.

We believe our guests can enjoy the beautiful fire work under a safe and comfortable situation and celebrate our country’s national day.

From July to September, Cityplaza this summer brings to Hong Kong the world’s first Harbin Ice Lantern Exhibition inside a shopping mall. Since the security services for the Exhibition“Chinese Dinosaur Fossils” was given very positive comment from our client last year. This time we make additional efforts to provide crowd management and customer services for the Ice Lantern Exhibition.

Since the number of viewers is so many, and we consider the special situation of Ice Lantern, we elaborately choose a batch of security guards and customer ambassadors responsible to maintain the venue in order; meanwhile, we dispatch our senior operations personnel to pay attention to all kinds of security stuff.

Asian Securitex is an established international security event in Asia, and is on the cutting edge of trends and technology sophistication that spread worldwide. It was held on 7-9 June 2006 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre for its 9th edition. The 2006 show delivers a showcase of the latest security, safety and fire protection products and technologies, including access control systems, alarm systems, biometrics, CCTV & surveillance systems, smartcard technology, communication & information technology, fire alarm equipment and locks & safes.

During the activity, apart from exchanging ideas and information with our colleagues, CITY also exhibited its innovative construction site access control system, as well as introducing various security services to our clients.

The Kowloon West Best Security Services Awards Ceremony was held on the 13th April 2006. This event was organized by the Kowloon West Crime Prevention Office, the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority as well as the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies Ltd.

One of our security officers named Yu Po Wah posted at the Sino Centre was selected as the Best Security Guard. This reward was a boost of spirit in CITY, and further motivated CITY to provide our superior security services for client.

In April 2006, the European-Style mansion Noble Hill started its sales event. CITY was responsible to offer more than 50 security guards and customer ambassador every day, so that all visitors may relaxingly choose their beloved apartments.

Apart from offering frequent training courses to our staff, CITY also participates in large scale recruitment fairs in order to hire potential employees. On the 11th March, Labour Department held a job fair called "YWETS Job Express for Youths" at Olympian City, which targeted youngsters aged between 15 and 24 with education attainment below degree level, to enhance their employment opportunities.

CITY is pleased to participate in the activity. In view of the attractive salary package and career prospect of our job vacancies, our booth was packed with more than one hundred applicants. We have successfully recruited quite a number of quality staff.

Habour Side, The Water Front and Sorrento are the foci of integrated development project in Kowloon Station, under the MTR corporation. CITY is honored to offer the three real estates thorough security and property management services in at least the coming three years. This is also the first contract of large scale housing estate contract for CITY.

CITY is offering 200 professional service staff every day to the three areas and allocating them to designated locations according to our clients’ requests. Meanwhile, we also modified and strengthened our current structures of administration and operation teams, so as to meet our client’s needs and ensure the smooth execution of the project.

Despite the numerous challenges we faced, we made corresponding amendments to our human resource allocation and administration after frequent communication with our clients. The most satisfactory consensus was reached and the best security and property management services are offered.

Habour Green, the world class residential located in west Kowloon, started its sales event in February 2006. CITY was designated to provide more than 40 security guards and customer ambassadors daily during the event to maintain order in the area, so as to ensure that all visitors can enjoy the purchase of their favourite flats.

In the Best Security Services Award Scheme organized by the Eastern District Fight Crime Committee, 10 of CITY’s staff working in Kornhill Garden was selected as the Outstanding Security Guard. This reward was owing to the effort of our staff in Kornhill as well as the coordination between CITY management team and its clients. This reward encouraged CITY to continue to provide the best quality service.
