The Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo has been a popular outdoor expo in Hong Kong since 1938. The 55th Hong Kong Brands & Products Expo was held from 11 December 2021 to 3 January 2022 at the Victoria Park, Causeway Bay.
HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam opened the event in Victoria Park in this year. The CE was escorted by our highly-trained security personnel to one of the exhibition booths. Featuring famous brands and quality products from Hong Kong and overseas, local citizens and tourists enjoy great fun at the fair in the festive season.

Organized by The Chinese Manufacturer’s Association of Hong Kong (CMA) and commencing on the 31th of October 2021, the 8th Hong Kong Food Carnival was held at the Kwai Chung Sports Ground. Having previous experience of such an event, City Security Services Limited were once again appointed as the designated Security Services provider and due to the provision of our high quality comprehensive Security Services the event ran smoothly and successfully.

The “Kowloon East Best Security Personnel Awards” 2020-2021 organized by Hong Kong Police Force Regional Crime Kowloon East at Police Sports & Recreation Club. City Security achieved excellent results for several awards. They are selected from around 5000 high-standard securities, it shows their well-trained performance under security regulations and the achievement of eliminating criminal cases in the properties.

The Best Training Awards aim at promoting training initiatives and recognizing security companies that consistently offer security services related training to their employees to enhance their professional competence to meet the challenging needs of Hong Kong. Hong Kong Baptist University and Tseung Kwan O MTR Railway Depot, Lake Silver, Festival City and One Midtown which award Gold and Silver prize respectively. This proves that our concentration on training is well recognized in the security industry.

There are over 101 off-course betting branches in Hong Kong, each of which is equipped with service counters, Self-vending Terminal (SVT), and Multi-purpose Terminal (MPT) for accepting bets. City Security Company Limited (CSL) will provide security services for 50 of these off-course betting branches from August 1, 2021. CSL will also make appropriate staffing arrangements in advance to ensure a quality environment and orderly operation, and to protect the safety of all customers and staff in the branches. During the epidemic, CSL has implemented a series of preventive measures. Our security staff will remind guests to keep a social distance and manage attendance as they enter the betting center. The number of customers entering the venue is managed according to the size of the branches. Our security staff will ask customers to follow the instructions.

The Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam visited HKBU and met with the University senior management on 19 July to learn more about the University latest developments.

Accompanied by Dr Clement Chen, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU, Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, and other HKBU senior management members, Mrs Lam visited the facilities of the School of Chinese Medicine, including the Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutics Laboratory, the Shum Yiu Foon Sum Bik Chuen Memorial Centre for Cancer and Inflammation Research, and the Mr & Mrs Chan Hon Yin Chinese Medicine Specialty Clinic and Good Clinical Practice Centre. The Crime Prevention Office of the Kowloon West Region, together with the Security and Guarding Industry Management Authority (SGSIA) and the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC) announced the list of awards for security personnel who have actively assisted the police in crime prevention, and Property Management Companies that have consistently good performance good in security and property management. For the year 2020-2021, City Security Company Ltd (CSL) and City Professional Management Ltd (CPML) received the Best Managed Property Award and Best Managed Public Carpark Award on YATA Department Store, Hong Kong Baptist University, The One, Isquare, and Kwong Wa Hospital accordingly. The awards and recognition we received are a testament to our efforts and professionalism in the security and property services. CSL and CPML will continue to deliver quality services in the future.

Commencing on the 27th of May 2021, the YATA V.I.P Sales Event will be running continuously for seven days. City Security Company Limited has been appointed as the designated Security Services provider to provide comprehensive security services to ensure the smooth operation and successful completion of the event.
We have implemented the range of social-distancing and preventative measures in place. When entering stores, our security guard reminds the customer about social distancing at the entrance, along with hand sanitizers to manage the number of people going in-store. There are limitations on the number of customers allowed in store at any one time, depending on the store size. Aforementioned, our security staff will ask customers to follow relevant instructions.
